Gregorian Oriental Rugs was founded in the midst of the Great Depression by Arthur T. Gregorian, the first of three generations whose widely respected business has become the Oriental Rug resource of choice for designers and customers throughout New England.

Gregorian’s was founded on three enduring principles: select only genuine, hand-woven rugs from the preeminent weaving centers of the world; continually strive for customer service excellence and foster an appreciation for the art, history and lore of Oriental Rugs.

This approach has led to well-deserved reputation for quality rugs and exceptionally attentive and personalized service. From direct delivery and pick up, to a generous “Live with Your Rug” trial period, to industry-leading rug care and restoration programs, Gregorian’s has been exceeding expectations for three generations.

Gregorian’s landmark Washington Street location Newton Lower Falls, on the banks of the historic Charles River, offers over 40,000 square feet of showroom space, with 8 galleries displaying thousands of handmade rugs, along with extensive rug repair and restoration facilities.

With roots firmly planted in the bazaars and rug trading centers of the Middle East, India and Asia, the Gregorian family continues to be intimately involved in the selection of rugs for their collection. Gregorian’s truly offers their customers “a little part of Persia in Newton Lower Falls.”
